Special Thanks

I can’t begin to express my gratitude for everything this journey has given and shown to me. I’ve gained perspective, I’ve learned to slow down, I’ve opened my heart, my eyes, and my ears to the world, I’ve grown wiser, I’ve expanded my network internationally. And I continue to develop and accomplish my dreams everyday.

But this could not have all been possible if it weren’t for the positive influences and supportive figures in my life.

Thanks mom and dad…

My decision to put life on hold and go abroad wasn’t exactly what my mom and dad expected to hear before starting my last year of college. Though they didn’t fully understand this desire of mine, they supported me and all my crazy ideas…just like they’ve been doing since the day I was born. And they continue to support me with all the love in their hearts as I wander on this journey that brings new surprises everyday! Without their love, support, and understanding, there’s no way I could fully embrace this experience I’ve undertaken. My parents are the perfect example of parents that want only the best for their child because as much as I miss home and they miss me, they know what this experience means to me and continue to encourage me to follow my dreams.

Momma and Dadda

Thanks best friends…

I am a firm believer that you surround yourself by people you aspire to be like…people that have qualities and values similar to yours or those you wish to possess.

I am also a firm believer that you don’t know who your true friends are until you are all alone with no one familiar around you.

When I look at my strongest friendships that began years ago as a teenager, a few years back as a college kid, or even a few months ago as a lone traveler, I think to myself, “Dang my friends are legit!”

World travelers, inspirational educators, creatively gifted women, beauty queens, businesswomen and future entrepreneurs. All of my best friends (including my loving sister!!) are fearless, intelligent, caring, and motivated go-getters that make dreams a reality everyday.

I am so blessed to have so many loving and supportive friends who are on the same journey as me in their own unique way. Even from miles away, we continue to grow and learn from each other everyday.
